Fashion Frenzy: Candy Crushin' on Footwear for Summer

A few girlfriends and I are planning to host a neon party this July and I've been on the hunt for the perfect footwear for an H&M Conscious dress my hubby got me a few months back. Easily, I found myself distracted by all the fabulous shoes, candy coated in vibrant, fun neon color I spotted on the web. Whether paired with black, neutral, a crazy print or with a multitude of colors; this seasons picks are highly addictive and perfect for the beach or rooftop loungin'.

Elated with Etsy: Shop spotlight on Salt City Emporium

What mom isn't all about  function, durability and comfort when shopping for clothes for their kids? I think it's an even better score when those items are on point with current designs and prints, that calls to your child's unique personality and sense of style. When I spotted the shop Salt City Emporium on Etsy I had to share some of their 100% organic cotton, trend-setting apparel for the kiddies, with prints featuring Chevron, clouds, arrows and foxes. Expect new items for kids this summer/fall and I'm anticipating the introduction of their adult line "Urban Salt".

Happy 8th Birthday Etsy! Almost a week ago I shared Instyle magazine's tweet of the news that Etsy was going mainstream & received a tweet back from Nordstrom, sharing their excitement for the collaboration. I've been a huge fan of Etsy over the last five years after buying items I coveted for my paisley and jewel toned themed wedding and our sons circus themed first birthday party and various unique gifts for friends and family. I can only imagine how thrilled these emerging designers are with such a great opportunity to have their creative handmade and beautiful, vintage products in a world known fabulous retailer. I for one will be checking back on the page Etsy and Nordstrom Presents regularly for updates on newly released products.

Downing Pottery's San Francisco Cityscape hand-painted mug has such cute detail, perfect for any morning cup of joe or sip of tea. Visit the Etsy shop for other sweet items and cross your fingers that the owner will design some for other cities {like NYC}.

Dock Artisan's  Manzanita Iphone 5 dock is a hand sanded, functional and naturally one-of-a-kind gift idea. The Etsy shop has quite a few finds perfect for any fella in your life.

Anto Art's has such beautifully rustic and charming personalized items for weddings, gifting and the home. Their "We Do" cake topper caught my I because of it's simplicity and I know like the MyBridalBudget clients I meet with, tons of brides would love it to adorn their wedding cake. Sweet Sorrella Design's monogrammed compact mirrors are right on trend featuring polka-dots, chevron and striped prints and make great gifts for spa parties and bridesmaids.

Whichgoose for floral crowns and gorgeous accessories. The baby breathe crown would be breathe-taking on a winter bride or even a flower girl and I am loving the burlap ring bearer pillow on their Etsy shop page.

CircaCeramics for vibrant and fun porcelain bowls, plates, magnets and more. I could see me pretending to make something in the kitchen with these, and spotted this bowl  in their Etsy shop that my monster boys would use.

Serephine  for sashes that bring a touch of glam to any simple dress and bridal accessories like this sparkly tulle bridal hair flower. If it were in my budget this amazing headband  in the Etsy shop would have to be worn on my walk down the aisle.

Cheers to another weekend and Happy Fathers Day to all the special guys in your life! Life has been a balancing act as of late with the last few days of school wrapping up {9 days left says every NYC public school teacher, but who's counting?} & with wedding season well under way for team MyBridalBudget {I'm excitedly helping coordinate our third wedding since Memorial day at Chateau Briand} I'm looking forward to celebrating my fantastic Hubby and spending time with our Monsters. Tomorrow we are headed to the Brooklyn Bridge Cup & Block Party at  Brooklyn Tech's field {Oh yes I am a proud BTHS graduate} for youth soccer, live music and food truck eats. In case you had some idle time.....
